I am leading a unit with highly qualified staff within scientific research and administration, scientific writing, communication and knowledge within the domains of the European Union and other international and national funding bodies.
I am coordinator and communicator for mainly research management documentation but I also work with communication consultancy, presentation techniques and interview training.
Karolinska Institutet Foundations & Funds
We work with the handling of KI-internal calls for research and travel grants in Prisma. Handling of receipts and disbursements of wills and financial donations to KI.
Prizes, awards and medals
I work with the management and support function for KI's management regarding nominations, preparation and decisions.
We provide support and guidance support for researchers applying for funding. With us you get advice, feedback and training on internal processes for larger applications. An important part of the work includes compliance with rules, coordination and signature of grant agreements and consortium agreements, etc.
We are advisers for Swedish, Nordic, European, USA and world wide research fundling. European sources as Horizon 2020 funding includes ERC - European Research Council, FET - The Future and Emerging Technologies Programme, Marie Skłodowska Curie and H2020 collaborative programs.

Research documentation, data management and advice on laws and regulations
We work with advice and education in research documentation, data and information management. We are also the system owner of the Electronic Logbook ELN. We also work with advice on laws and regulations for externally funded projects - "non-financial compliance".
I lead the work on research documentation and management of research data, as well as business development focused on research information systems and "non-financial compliance".
I am system manager for the electronic logbook ELN and for Prisma.
I support issues regarding compliance with foreign regulations and foreign financiers' requirements and guidelines of a non-financial nature. Coordinates contract management of US federal grants (primarily NIH) as well as EU JU IMI2 projects. I administer Data Access Requests to the US NCBI databases, mainly dbGaP (genotypes & phenotypes).
We work with strategic partnerships with business and industry. Through these collaborations, we create a good infrastructure and support for managing assignment research, contract issues, intellectual property rights and other issues.
Together with KI's researchers, we take operational and strategic initiatives for new projects in education, innovation and business development for the benefit of health care.
