Information to co-supervisors of doctoral students with a digital ISP
KI has started to use a digital tool to create and establish doctoral student’s individual study plans (ISP). As a co-supervisor you can access your students study plans through the system.
If you are employed at, or affiliated to, KI you can log in with your KI-ID. If you are not employed or affiliated, you will receive e-mail with instructions on how to log in. You will get this message when the administrator at the department where the doctoral student is registered has added you as a user and created an account.
As a co-supervisor you need to read the doctoral student’s ISP and sign the form “Agreement of the co-supervisor” where you confirm that you have read the doctoral student’s individual study plan and agree with your commitments described there. The form will be sent to you once the student and main supervisor have filled out the study plan together, but before they submit it for a decision (this can be after the ISP-seminar). You sign the form and send it back by e-mail (preferably to the doctoral student). The original shall be sent to the department for archiving.
If you have any questions, contact the administrator for doctoral education at the department, or if your questions are related to the system, e-mail them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
