About me

  • Dr. Ahlem Zaghmi received her Ph.D. degree from the National Institute of Scientific Research (INRS) in Canada. Her thesis work focused on developing novel therapeutic bioconjugates for neuroprotection in neurological disorders.

    After defending her thesis in December 2020, Ahlem started her postdoctoral research at Per-Johan Jakobsson group at Karolinska institute. Her research focuses on exploring inflammatory targets and pathways in cancer (i.e., neuroblastoma and colorectal cancer) to effectively treat these deadly diseases.
