About me
Based on achievements as malariologist in malaria elimination on islands in Vanuatu from 1987 to 1994, I have conducted research on malaria epidemiology, chemotherapy and elimination in Vanuatu, Papua New Gunea, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malawi, Zanzibar, Ghana, and recently the Lake Victoria area in Kenya. Since 2011, I am Professor of Global Health and leader of the Island Malaria Group at the Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology, Karolinska Institutet.
