About me

  • As a researcher with a background in Laboratory Medicine at KI, my expertise lies in lymphocyte signal transduction, particularly in analyzing the structure-function relationship of chimeric genes associated with T cell lymphoma and B cell proximal signal transduction. Prior to this, I delved into genetic disorders, focusing on retinitis pigmentosa.

Currently, my focus has shifted towards protein engineering projects, where I specialize in generating designer chimeric proteins aimed at enhancing immune cell capabilities. I am deeply involved in creating novel constructs with tailored promoters and developing new biological machines to further advance our understanding and manipulation of cellular processes for novel cancer immunotherapy products including CARs, DARs and TCRs.
