I am PhD student in Klas Blomgren group whithin the Department of Women's and Children Health's.
Research description
The main goal of my PhD project is to prevent or reverse the chronic neuroinflammation that occurs in the juvenile brain after radiotherapy. Ionizing radiation selectively kills stem and progenitor cells in the neurogenic regions of the brain. Irradiation-induced inflammation impairs neurogenesis and chronic inflammation is considered to be one reason why it does not recover, why the brain degenerate at a faster rate and why is more susceptible to other injuries

Master's Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular biology and Biomedicine from the Complutense University of Madrid. 2017-2018.
Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from University of Sevilla. 2013-2017.
