About me
I recently defended my PhD thesis which was focused on antibody- and osteoclast-dependent mechanisms in chronic pain conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Teaching portfolio
As a PhD student I have gained experience in teaching physiology and pharmacology practical laboratories for medical students as well as neuroscience seminars (sensory functions, CNS in health and disease).

Academic honours, awards and prizes
April and June 2018 KI Board of Research as well as Board of Doctoral Education have supported me financially during my international research visit at Utrecht Medical Center, Netherlands. During my 2-months stay I have been studying the role of macrophages in Rheumatoid Arthritis-autoantibody induced pain in a transgenic mouse model.
June 2018 I have received financial support from Karolinska Institutet Board of Research for presenting my research at the World Congress of Pain in Boston, September 12-16, 2018.
