About me

I am a public health scientist and epidemiologist by training. Currently based on the Unit of Occupational Medicine, Institute of Environmental Medicine.

Research description

My main research interests lie at the intersection between mental health, physical health, and social welfare. Using both Swedish national registers and surveys, I have been focusing on the following research area:

  1. Psychiatric outcomes among healthcare and social care workers
  2. Working-life expectancy among different occupational groups
  3. Parental mental disorders and the consequences for children's physical health and social outcomes
  4. Mental disorders as risk factors for somatic disorders
  5. Medications use as risk factors for road traffic injuries among elderly
  6. Labour market consequences following road traffic injuries
