About me

Dr. Ana Dugic is a Gastroenterology Fellow at Heidelberg University Hospital, Heidelberg, Germany. She is a Research Fellow and a PhD Candidate in Pancreatology at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. Her clinical and research activities focus on pancreatic diseases, including pancreatic cancer screening, pancreatic cysts, inflammatory disorders of the pancreas, and endoscopic treatment of pancreatic diseases.

Dr. Dugic is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and passionate about ongoing research. She serves as a Trainee Editor for the UEG Journal and is a board member of the Young Talent Group of the United European Gastroenterology (UEG), as well as a member of the UEG Public Affairs Committee, the Young Gastroenterology board for the German Society for Digestive and Metabolic Diseases (DGVS), the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), the American Society for Endoscopy (ASGE), and the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA).
