Research

My main experience concerns clinical research in the field of musculoskeletal disorders with an emphasis on low back pain. We have investigated how psychological factors affect the clinical course and outcomes in the manual therapy field. A major interest of mine is to understand and implement secondary/tertiary prevention in clinical practice. The focus of my research has been to investigate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of manual treatments to prevent recurrent and persistent low back pain.
