Research

  • I am deeply engaged in investigating the intricate molecular mechanisms underlying brain development and plasticity. My research centers on pivotal processes such as neuronal activity-dependent transcription and synaptic plasticity, which are crucial for understanding neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders. Employing a variety of state-of-the-art methodologies and technologies, including stereotaxic surgery, behavior analysis, electrophysiology, and advanced molecular profiling methods such as transcriptomics and epigenomics, I aim to unravel the complexities of these mechanisms. Through my work, I seek to contribute to advancements in our understanding of brain function and to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for neurological disorders
