Research description

My field of interest is paediatic and respiratory epidemiology, particularly asthma co-morbidities, maternal asthma, risk factors for pediatric asthma and allergies. My research uses large register-based linked data as well as twin data. The methods used in my research include risk factor epidemiology, mediation analysis, genetic epidemiology techniques. twin modelling, negative control studies. I have also done research in Indigenous health, rural suicide and mental health, as well as bushfire research. My goal is to apply the best epidemiological methods and big data to answer questions around the causes and consequences of asthma.
