About me

I am a Ph D student at the department of laboratory medicine, clinical pharmacology. I have an assignment as adjunct clinical instructor for biomedical scientist students at KI. I am responsible for organizing clinical education for biomedical scientist students and provide training of main supervisors in the laboratory.

Research description

My research is in an area called “new sampling stategies in therapeutic drug monitoring”. It is about exploring whether it is possible to perform concentration analysis of drugs from blood spots on filter paper, DBS (dried blood spots). The goal is to see if it is possible to offer patients the opportunity to perform self sampling at home instead of drawing blood samples at a clinic. The name of my PhD project is “ Dried blood spots; possibilities as an alternative matrix in therapeutic drug monitoring for patient care and clinical research”
