Research
- Current work targets SRHR among hard-to-reach and hidden populations, with a
thesis focusing on Myanmar's eastern conflict areas. Research interests are
specifically the effects of inequality and food insecurity on health
outcomes, including from infectious diseases such as HIV or HCV (Hepatitis
C), as well as linkages to intravenous drug use among women and men. Further
interests are global health policy, the use of infectious disease modelling
in environements of high uncertainty, and development of innovative methods
for use in populations without clearly defined sampling frames.
