About me

  • I am a pediatric physiotherapist, PhD, at the Motion Analysis Laboratory, Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital, Karolinska University Hospital and affiliated to Karolinska Institutet. My research is on movement analysis with a special interest in measuring movement disorders and exploring the sensorimotor relationship in children.

Research

  • Exploring perception and action, muscle functioning and motor development in children with the movement and posture disorder of cerebral palsy. In a project on significance of sensory system on motor functioning in cerebral palsy, we are investigating visual function, proprioception and movement perception from selfreported and laboratory performed measurements.

    Exporing the role of vestibular function on balance and motor functioning in children and adoloscents with hearing loss, cochlear implants and/or vestibular disturbances.
