Research description

I am currently working as a Research Assistant in Maja Jagodic’s research group. My research project focuses on investigating epigenetic and epigenomic patterns in Multiple Sclerosis. I am primarily interested in next generation sequencing methods to study the epigenetic signals associated with neuronal damage. I want to continue my research in this field, to gain a better understanding of factors driving the epigenetic state and hence aim to develop early-stage biomarkers for Multiple Sclerosis and other neurodegenerative diseases.
