About me

I am a doctoral student in the research group “Sickness absence, health and life situation” (SHoL) in the multiple sclerosis (MS) project. My doctoral research project is titled “The socioeconomic burden of MS: Economic situation, healthcare costs and productivity losses among working-aged people diagnosed with MS in Sweden”. In this, I research the life situation of working aged individuals diagnosed with MS, a chronic and progressive neurological disorder which is characterised by heterogeneity and a wide range of physical and cognitive symptoms. I am interested in the income (sources and levels) and working life trajectories of individuals with this chronic and progressive disease as well as the societal cost of illness.
