Research description
My goal is to explore the possibilities and limitations of DNA origami nanostrucutres in the field of Biomedicine, with a focus on signalling mediated by membrane receptors.
In my workflow, I implement a variety of in vitro methods, such as DNA nanotechnology, rolling circle amplification (RCA)- based analytical techniques, protein-DNA conjugation, and cell and molecular biology analysis techniques. In addition, in vivo work plays a key role in my research. I use zebrafish models and confocal live imaging to study the interaction of nanosystems with physiological environments.
