About me

  • I am a PhD student at the Aging Research Center in the Department of
Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society. I am originally from Canada and
moved to Sweden in 2018 to pursue a master's in public health epidemiology at
Karolinska Institutet. Since then, I have worked as a research assistant at
the Aging Research Center and I am now in the first year of my doctoral
studies in geriatric epidemiology. I have been affiliated with the Swedish
National Graduate School on Ageing and Health (SWEAH) since January 2022.

Research

  • My research focuses on frailty in older adults. I am interested in how to
best measure frailty, as well as understanding how different risk factors and
clinical events impact trajectories of frailty. Multimorbidity patterns are
another interest of mine, which I researched in the context of frailty risk
    in my master's thesis.
