I am a physician with postgraduate training in Clinical Research and a master’s degree in Public Health and Epidemiology, currently PhD candidate at KI.
About me
I graduated as a medical doctor from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) in 2015. Then, I worked as a Research Fellow at the Massacusetts General Hospital (USA). In 2018 I graduated from the master programme in public health and epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate and work for the Center of Epidemiology and Social medicine (CES) at the Stockholm County Council.
Research description
My doctoral education is focused on the epidemiology of diabetes. I am also interested in psychiatry and public health interventions for mental health disorders.
