Postdoctoral studies

About me

I am an engineer with a strong background on Structural Mechanics. Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Structural Biology, with a special focus on the understanding of protein biological function through the sequence-structure-dynamics-function paradigm.

Education

2017 - 2021: PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering cum laude, Thesis title: Elastic lattice models: from proteins to diagrid tall buildings, Department of Structural, Geotechnical and Building Engineering, Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy.

2019 - 2020: Visiting PhD scholarship in the Jernigan's Computational Biology Lab, Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology, Iowa State University, Ames (IA), United States of America.

2015 - 2017: MSc in Civil Structural Engineering cum laude, Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy.

2012 - 2015: BSc in Civil Engineering cum laude, Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy.
