About me

As a Research Assistant with Assistant Professor Keira Melican I study the ability of clinically isolated, commensal, coagulase negative (CoN) Staphylococcal species to inhibit methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). I study colonisation and infection using in vitro microbiological techniques, complex ex vivo skin model systems and an in vivo xenograft model.
