About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics at KI in the lab led by Dr. Gonçalo Castelo-Branco.

Oligodendrocytes, the myelinating cells of the central nervous system, are a transcriptionally heterogeneous population formed of twelve states/subpopulations. My research interests are unveiling the functional consequences of the oligodendrocytes transcriptional heterogeneity and the oligodendrocyte states/subpopulations specific roles in development, health, and disease.
