I have been working in the Health Economics and Policy research group since 2010. Since 2012, I am also employed by Region Stockholm at the centre for Health Economics, Informatics and Health Care Research. I started my PhD-studies in 2015.
My research is about the performance of various health systems, health care services, and health care policies with a specific focus on productivity, efficiency and health care outcomes. You can read about my doctoral project here.
Beside my doctoral project, I am part of a Nordic cooperation group, the Nordic Hospital Comparison Study Group (NHCSG), which compares and analyses the differences in, for example, health care efficiency, availability and costs within and between the Nordic countries. I also participate in a European project, BRIDGE Health, where we compare health care utilization, productivity, performance and cost of care across different European countries.
I have a Master of Science degree in Business and Economics (one year), with economics as main field of study from Stockholm's University and a Master of Science degree in Medical Science (two year), with health economics, management and policy as main field of study from Karolinska Institutet.
