About me

I am senior research specialist and docent in epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet, I have a background in biostatistics, and my research is mainly focused on childhood cancer and rare genetic syndromes.

Research description

I am the principal investigator of two Nordic collaborative studies on the role of parental socioeconomic factors on childhood cancer incidence and survival. I am also the principal investigator of a Nordic study on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on childhood cancer and I am a member of the Childhood Cancer & Leukemia International Consortium (CLIC, https://www.clic.ngo/).

I am working on studies on cancer risk among individuals with rare genetic syndromes and I am part of the COSMOS study, an international cohort study on the effects of mobile phone use on health (https://thecosmosproject.org/)
