About me
I am a medical doctor, with a Masters in Epidemiology, currently writing a PhD thesis on plasma proteomics and biomarker discovery. My primary research focus is on plasma proteome alterations in glioblastoma, stage IV metastatic melanoma, and COVID-19.
Overall, I have a profound interest in learning and combining biomedical research skills on the molecular, clinical, and epidemiological level, aiming to improve diagnostics and therapeutics of rare and oncological diseases. Methodologically, I am interested in proteomics, proteogenomics, research design, medical statistics, and bioinformatics.
