About me

  • Henrike Häbel has a doctoral degree in mathematical statistics from Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden. Before joining the Division of Biostatistics, Institute of Environmental Medicine (IMM, 2018-2021) and the Medical Statistics Unit (Medstat), Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME, 2022-now) at Karolinska Institutet, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Natural Resources Institute Finland, Helsinki, Finland. Henrike mainly works with statistical consultation, data management, survival and regression analysis in epidemiologic and population-based studies. She is also involved in teaching activities and is part of the Centre for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CBB). Cramér prize for best thesis issued by the Cramér society, Sweden, 2018 Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics, Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden, June 2017 Advisors: Aila Särkkä (main), Mats Rudemo, Tuomas Rajala and Matias Nordin

Research

  • Henrike Häbels research interests include spatial and spatio-temporal statistics with a focus on spatial point processes and image analysis.
