Irem Ündeger

currently working on my PhD thesis: The role of social cognition in threat learning at the Emotion Lab.

Research description

My research focuses on the neural, behavioural and psychophysiological mechanisms underlying the integration of social information we gather about and from others and threat related stimuli.

I am especially interested in theory of mind, and empathy. My current focus is on fMRI for which I use a variety of techniques, such as multivariate pattern analyses (MVPA) and more specifically representational similarity analysis (RSA). Additionally, I use pupil dilation, and skin conductance analyses.
