Isabelle Von Saenger
Isabelle von Saenger is a research assistant at the Social gerontological sector at Aging Research Center, NVS. She has a master's degree in Public Health Sciences from Stockholm University with a focus on inequality in health and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Stockholm University. Initiated and ran a collaboration project between ARC and Stockholm School of Photography that in the spring of 2020 resulted in the photo exhibition Who is "older" in Sweden today?
The master thesis explored the role of perceived teacher support on student health and whether schools' student composition and gender made a difference in this relationship. The bachelor thesis focused on differences in health among swedish and foreignborn based on socioeconomic factors, social network and family relationships.
