Research description
My research is focused on how early insults to the lung, such as early onset asthma or preterm birth, affect lung development and lung function in early and later life. Using both conventional and more experimental clinical methods to evaluate different aspects of the growing lung in combination with epidemiology, the aim is to advance the possibilities for primary and secondary prevention of lung disease in both the clinical setting and society, in order to give all children the best possible lung health throughout life.
