About me

I am a PhD student in the Centre for Eating Disorders Innovation (CEDI) since January 2020. I have studied medicine (BSc) and neuroscience (MSc) at Utrecht University before coming to Stockholm for my studies. My thesis focuses on eating disorder genetics, and aims to use genetic data in combination with register data to create clinically useful prediction models of course and outcome in eating disorders. For the genetic part of my thesis, I will be highly involved in the Eating Disorder Workgroup of the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium. In terms of register data, I will make use of the Eating Disorder Quality Registers Riksät and Stepwise. Last, but not least, a part of my thesis also involves studying the well-being of individuals with current or past eating disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic.

My main supervisor is Cynthia Bulik, and co-supervisors are Andreas Birgegård, Lu Yi, and Alexander Ploner.
