About me

I graduated as a speech language pathologist/therapist from Göteborg university in 2002. My professional career has focused on brain injury rehabilitation. In 2020 I earned my formal specialisation within the area of aquired language disorders. I have also worked as a rehabilitation and care developer at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine Stockholm, Danderyd University Hospital. 

Research description

I am a doctoral student at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society since September 2021.  My doctoral studies are focused on rehabilitation after stroke. The aim of my project is to evaluate F@ce, a person-centered rehabiliation intervention using information- and communication technology. My thesis will inclued a process evaluation studying the implementation of the F@ce-intervention.

Teaching portfolio

I teach in the areas of language and communication after acquired brain injury and I'm a certified trainer in Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia. I do most of my teaching at the speech pathology-, psychology- and physiotherapyprograms at Karolinska institutet. I also lecture regulary at various events and conferences.
