Research description

I am a researcher within the area of occupational medicine. My research is focused on physical and psychosocial working conditions in relation to health outcomes and a sustainable working life. I study exposures such as heavy lifting, uncomfortable working postures and low job control.  Main outcomes are musculoskeletal disorders, work ability and early exits from the labor market through long-term sick leave, disability pension and other exit routes. Other areas for my research are occupational rehabilitation, methods and practices for occupational health services, and health effects of precarious employment conditions.
