About me
- I studied medicine in Uppsala and graduated in June 2000. I combine research
with clinical work at the Pediatric Endocrinology Unit at Astrid
Lindgren Children's Hospital, Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm.
M.D. Specialist in Pediatrics, fellow in Pediatric Endocrinology.
Research
- My PhD projects are both experimental and clinical. One of my research
aims is to establish a clinically relevant experimental model suitable for
studies of longitudinal bone growth /in vitro/. Other aims are to find more
efficacious treatments for short stature and to find means on how to
identify responders and non-responders to growth hormone treatment earlier
than what is possible today.
