About me

I studied medicine in Uppsala and graduated in June 2000. I combine research with clinical work at the Pediatric Endocrinology Unit at Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital, Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm.

Research description

My PhD projects are both experimental and clinical. One of my research aims is to establish a clinically relevant experimental model suitable for studies of longitudinal bone growth in vitro. Other aims are to find more efficacious treatments for short stature and to find means on how to identify responders and non-responders to growth hormone treatment earlier than what is possible today.

Education

M.D. Specialist in Pediatrics, fellow in Pediatric Endocrinology.
