About me

My role at CBCS-KI is to help other researchers to develop high throughput screening assays for their projects. After obtaining a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Georgia, I became a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Research description

My PhD research was mainly in identifying small molecule inhibitors for Protein Methyltransferases in epigenetic regulation. During my postdoctoral research, I was focused on high throughput screening and discovery of chemical disruptors for protein-protein interactions of novel protein targets in cancer and Alzheimer’s Disease.

Education

Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, USA (2017)
