I am an epidemiologist with a background in medicine. For more than 10 years, I have been working on cancer epidemiology, particularly on cancer survivorship. By applying different statistical methods on large population-based Swedish registers, I am striving to understand the long-term effects of cancer and identify risk factors for survivors' health and welfare. Through my research, I would like to contribute to a better prospect for cancer survivors.
My research is currently supported by the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation (Barncancerfonden).
Besides research, I have been involved in teaching of different courses at both master and doctoral levels at Karolinska Institutet. Since 2020, I have been working as course leader of Cancer Epidemiology module in the Applied Epidemiology course at the Master Program of Public Health Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet.
