Research description
My doctoral project covers type 2 ILCs and their functional and phenotypic response to changes in their microenvironment (e.g. via inflammation and viral infection). A special focus here will be on the role of lipid mediators.

After my bachelor's thesis in tissue-engineering, working on a fully perfused 3d model of the human hematopoietic stem cell niche, I dedicated my further education to immunology. This culminated in my master's thesis at the German Rheumatism Research Center in Berlin, which covered the selective expression of a specific gene in T helper subsets.
