A molecular biologist turned bioinformatician and with a keen interest in the human microbiome and its relation to chronic disease, specially in women and children.

Research description

As a bioinformatician in CTMR I'm the main responsible for the data analysis in our sequencing-based studies linked to large studies in the field of women's health.

I'm interested in all technical aspects from cohort design, sample collection, molecular biology methods, bioinformatics software and appropriate statistical procedures. Crap in, crap out, as the saying goes.
