About me

I am a registered nurse and hold a PhD in medical science from Karolinska Institutet in 2021. My doctoral thesis focused on testing and using tools to promote early conversations on values and preferences for future care at the end-of-life among the general public. My research interests revolve around new public health approaches to palliative care, advance care planning/proactive end-of-life conversations, and using participatory action research methods in order to conduct research together with those concerned.

I currently share my time between Karolinska Institutet and Luleå University of Technology, where I hold a position as senior lecturer. I reside in Luleå.
