About me

I am a PhD student at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (MEB). My research focuses on drug safety and effectiveness in relation to kidney function and progression of renal diseases with the supervision of Prof. Juan-Jesus Carrero.

My major interests are in statistical methods for longitudinal data and causal inference applied to pharmacoepidemiology.

Research description

I am currently working on treatments that are prescribed in patients with history of cardiovascular diseases and/or diabetes and the subsequent risk of decline in kidney function.

For my research I use data from the Stockholm CREAtinine Measurements (SCREAM) project, which is a complete healthcare utilisation cohort of Stockholm residents.
