About me

Marcos received his Bachelor's of Science from the University of Washington in 2019. He worked the next three years at the Institute for Protein Design (IPD) in the Nanoparticle Production Core. At the IPD, his research focused on production and characterization of novel protein nanoparticles for use as nanomaterials and vaccines. Most of his worked focused on the development of broadly protective sarbecovirus vaccines. He was awarded a Fulbright Grant in 2022 to research humoral responses to conserved epitopes on the human metapneumovirus and respiratory syncytial virus fusion proteins.
