Research description

My main research interest is the patients' own activation and participation in their care, especially by the critical time of hospital discharge and the transition to home.

I did my post-doc at LIME, Karolinska Institutet, in a project named Patient Activation in Transition to Home (PATH) . The PATH aims to support patients to become active agents in their self-care after transition to home.

I am also employed at the Department of Social Work, Karolinska University Hospital and is affiliated to the Division of Social Work at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, KI. My research interest in social work is a practice-based research on social workers' documentation of their work with patients with cancer.
