Maria Lindberg Reinius
I have a PhD in medical scinece and a bachelor of science in nursing.
I am currently employed as a research assistent in the Innovative Care Research group at LIME, Karolinska Institutet.
My PhD project involved how HIV-related stigma is perceived by persons living with HIV in Sweden and how HIV-related stigma can be measured and used as a variable in analysis of persons health. I study the relations between hiv-related stigma, health-related quality and life and treatment outcomes in a Swedish context. I also study how hiv-related stigma can be measured among people living with hiv in Sweden, so that changes in stigma can be tracked over time and stigma-reducing interventions can be evaluated.
