About me

Martina Valletta is a Medical Doctor and resident in Neurology at “Sapienza” University of Rome. She is a PhD student in Debora Rizzuto's group since 1 February 2023. She first joined ARC as a visiting researcher and has worked under the supervision of Giulia Grande, Debora Rizzuto and Laura Fratiglioni.

Her main clinical and research interests are dementia and the connection between aging, frailty, multimorbidity and cognitive impairment.

Martina’s research activity at ARC focuses on the application of blood-based biomarkers of dementia in a population setting.
