About me

  • I am an assistant professor at the Unit of Occupational Medicine at the 

  • Institution of Environmental Medicine. Some of my research interests are
    occupational health, mental health, social inequalities in health, public health, and epidemiology

Research

  • My current research focuses on psychosocial work exposures, mental health,
    labor market longevity, and social inequalities. Throughout my career, I have
    had a strong focus on mental health. This includes my doctoral thesis which
    was about future academic prospects and mental health among adolescents.

Teaching

  • 2019-present - teacher and course leader for the course Epidemiology: Swedish
    Case studies at DIS Study Abroad in Scandinavia (bachelor level).
    2022-present - teacher and course leader for the course Theory of Science in
    the Master Program in Public Health at Karolinska Institutet.
    2022-2023 - teaching assistant for the course Health Promotion in Working
    Life in the Master Program in Work and Health at Karolinska Institutet.
