I am a PhD student in the Epidemiology of Psychiatric Conditions, Substance Use and Social Environment (EPiCSS) group.
My main research interest is in the field of women’ health and life course epidemiology. My PhD project focuses on the early life factors (e.g. birth characteristics, reproductive and socioeconomic factors) and their associations with women’s health (i.e. perimenopausal disorders and endometriosis) in a life course perspective. For instance, I investigate whether there is a fetal origin of developing endometriosis in reproductive years. These studies are based on the Uppsala Birth Cohort Multigenerational Study and multiple Swedish population-based registers.
