About me
Michail (Mike) Klontzas is a senior resident of the Radiology residency program at the University Hospital of Heraklion (Greece) and collaborating researcher with Karolinska Institutet (CLINTEC). He is a member of the trainee editorial board of "Radiology: Artificial Intelligence” (RSNA) and has served in the trainee editorial board of RadioGraphics (RSNA). Dr Klontzas is a member of the Young Club Committee of EuSoMII and member of the board of the Radiology Trainee Forum of the European Society of Radiology. He has published > 65 PubMed-indexed articles, six book chapters for international publishers and is editing the book “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” published by Springer under the auspices of EuSoMII. He also serves as a series editor for the “Imaging informatics for healthcare professionals” of Springer International.
Research description
His research interests lie within musculoskeletal and oncologic imaging with emphasis on radiomics, artificial intelligence and biomedical engineering.
