About me

Mirjam Majster is a dentist with a doctoral degree from Karolinska Institutet. She defended her thesis entitled "Gateway to the gut : alterations in saliva in inflammatory bowel disease" in 2021. Dr. Majster is currently affiliated to research, focusing on mucosal and salivary alterations associated with inflammatory bowel disease, and works as a lecturer at the Department of Dental Medicine with the teoretical and practial test for dentists educated outside the EU/EES who wish to verify their diploma in Sweden.

NOF Hatton Award

Nordisk Odontologisk Förening (NOF) - the Scandinavian Division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR)

Awarded the NOF Hatton Award for young researchers in conjunction with the CED-IADR / NOF Oral health congress in Brussels, Belgium. Besides a monetary prize, the award means that the awardee will represent the Scandinavian division in the worldwide IADR Hatton Competition.
