About me

I am a graduate student and licensed psychologist. My research mainly focuses on adolescents with nonsuicidal self-injury – how to improve and develop treatment.

Research description

Nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI) is common in adolescence and associated with adverse events both in adolescence and adulthood. Still, there are few evidence-based treatments. Our research group is currently evaluating a brief online emotion regulation treatment (ERITA) for adolescents with nonsuicidal self-injury at three different sites in Sweden. The overarching goal of my research project is to better understand how, and for whom, we need to further develop and improve treatment, through investigating (1) experience of participating in ERITA, (2) events associated with the NSSI acts registered in real-time and, (3) predictors of change in ERITA.
