About me

Poorna Anand is a registered dietitian with a master degree in Nutrition from Stockholm University. In 2018, she completed her doctoral education in Medicine, on the topic Oesophageal cancer surgery - nutritional determinants of survivorship from Karolinska Institutet. She is currently pursuing a part time postdoctoral period in surgical care science continuing on the topic of her thesis work. 

Research description

Poorna's research is focused on nutritional problems in oesophageal cancer survivorship also emphasizing on physical activity after surgery for oesophageal cancer.
